We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Program Manager with a diverse background to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for co-developing the strategy as well as managing all data center related activity for Trane Supply. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders from Engineering, Materials, Procurement, Product Mgt., Plants, Service, etc. to ensure successful execution of all projects and activities yielding customer satisfaction. This role requires a diverse technical background in new product development, life cycle management, and operational excellence. In addition, the chosen leader for this role must have a proven ability to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently, with superior situational communication skills to present to senior leaders as well as front line associates. This role will develop, establish and lead the Data Center governance process for Trane Supply. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent technical degree), and a minimum of 15 years of diverse experience (Design, Op Ex, PMO, Quality, etc.).
  • Advanced analytical and visual management skills and experience are required.
  • Experience required with developing and implementing standard work for Aftermarket processes.
  • Lean Product/Process Development experience required; must have led, delivered and managed projects in a rapidly changing environment.
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience and Data Center familiarity is preferred.
  • MBA degree and experience leading transformation initiatives are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership, strategy development, and performance execution and monitoring across all projects and activities related to Data Centers for Trane Supply.
  • Exercises exceptional communication skills and be an effective servant leader with a positive, enthusiastic attitude to uplift people in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible for the development of the aftermarket parts governance process for Data Centers to support the long-range and annual operating plans for the business.
  • Promote Lifecycle support and thinking, ensuring that all stakeholders ensure serviceable parts are available as new Data Center equipment programs are launched and through the entire service life.
  • Consistently demonstrate responsiveness to Data Center customers (internal and external) and be quality minded in performance of all duties.
  • Lead, use, and influence with analytics and visual management to improve Service bill of material (BOM) effectiveness for Data Centers, driving waste elimination across the entire lifecycle for parts.
  • Responsible for supporting the Supply SBU Quality Management System, collaborating with the ISC, Product Management, and organizations to drive the reduction of poor-quality costs for Data Center projects and activities.
  • Lead the collaboration efforts with all Data Center plants to ensure alignment on priorities that result in seamless execution to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support transformation for Data Center related processes, including leading and coaching continuous improvement activities.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% required.
