Security Foundations builds solutions that keep Amazon systems and data secure
on behalf of our customers. We leverage technologies to solve security
challenges at Amazon scale, applying automation and machine learning to reduce
manual effort and continuously raise the security bar. Our mission is bold: stay
ahead of the curve on security while delighting our customers with world-class
products. Within Security Foundations, Secure 3P Tools (S3T) is a centralized
Amazon Security team dedicated to ensuring consistent data security and service
availability across all third-party interactions. Our customers include end
consumers, Amazon businesses leveraging third-party, and internal compliance
teams who rely on our services.

In this role, You will work with SDEs/other DEs and Data scientists to invent,
design and build data solutions that will have significant impact across vendors
doing business with Amazon, and all Amazonian building software solutions

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
• Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support a platform providing secured access to large datasets.
• Architect , develop and maintain end to end scalable data infrastructure and data pipelines
• Develop the teams' data strategy and technical road map of data storage & pipelines design and implementation
• Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, scripting and AWS big data technologies.
• Designing and implementing complex ETL pipelines and other BI solutions.
• Work closely with business owners, developers, Business Intelligence Engineers to explore new data sources and deliver the data.
• Empower the team for self-servicing by providing the necessary skills to handle complex tasks independently. Ensure that the team can efficiently manage and troubleshoot data-related issues, leading to increased autonomy and productivity. along with fostering a culture of self-reliance.
