About The Position

In this role, you will oversee a team of data engineers while driving the technical vision for building and optimizing data pipelines that support our streaming services. Your leadership will facilitate collaboration across departments to deliver effective data solutions that enhance the overall user experience. The Data Engineering team is pivotal in processing billions of data events and providing actionable insights, making your role crucial in shaping the data infrastructure that propels the organization forward. You will blend coding with management, mentoring your team in best practices while ensuring high-performance data systems are established.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, especially high-volume data platforms.
  • 2+ years managing data engineering teams in cloud-native environments.
  • Deep expertise in AWS data services, Snowflake, dbt, and more.
  • Strong people management skills, with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing data platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing cloud-based data platforms.
