About The Position

Front Desk – Data Entry Clerk U.S. Air Force Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC), Transition Assistance Program Data Entry, Minot AFB ND 58705-5010 Position: Full-Time / On-Site Caladwich Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified 8(a), CVE-certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with a single focus- deliver exceptional results! Caladwich Consulting is seeking an Data Entry Clerk to provide clerical procedures to arrange a variety of material from different sources and other administrative work of organization to include Transition Assistance Program (TAP) data entry and front desk customer service functions. Daily Hours of Operation are 7:00 am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in administrative data entry and general administrative duties such as data entry, filing (electronic and/or paper), record maintenance, and updating trackers or logs in accordance with office procedures.
  • Experience using standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and basic databases) to create, edit, and format documents such as memos, letters, and simple reports.
  • Experience interacting with customers, clients, or visitors in person, by phone, or electronically; ability to route inquiries appropriately and provide basic, nontechnical information.
  • Ability to prepare and proofread routine correspondence and documents for grammar, spelling, formatting, and accuracy, with guidance or established templates.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares a wide variety of recurring and nonrecurring correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Uses word processing software to create, copy, edit, store, retrieve, and print forms, memos, and letters and lengthy reports
  • Assists in developing look and format of reports and in identifying and solving problems in existing methods or procedures
  • Transmits and receives documents and messages electronically using personal computers or workstations that are networked or linked to other computers or workstations.
  • Assists in developing training aids for use by office members and providing them with hands-on-training.
  • Composes nontechnical correspondence, such as instructions on office procedures, requests for information, and letters of acknowledgment or notification.
  • Screens incoming mail and electronic messages to identify what needs to be brought to the attention of the supervisor, referred to appropriate staff, rerouted to other organizations/offices, or handled personally.
  • Reviews outgoing correspondence for procedural and grammatical accuracy, conformance with administrative requirements, and factual correctness.
  • Establishes, maintains, purges, and disposes of office records/files in accordance with regulations and procedures.
  • Ensures customers complete the Statement of Understanding (SOU) or other forms as required.
