About The Position

The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately entering and verifying claims to ensure timely adjudication and payment. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and adherence to established policies and procedures. This is a Union position, the salary will start at $20.50/hour/hour and increase to $21.13/hour after 90 days of continuous satisfactory work. Required to be in offer 5 days a week in the Clifton, New Jersey location.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent is required
2-3 years’ experience in data entry is required
Excellent computer skills, Microsoft office and Adobe are required
Professional verbal and written communication skills necessary
Must be dependable and have good attendance history

Nice To Haves

Insurance claims experience is preferred
Familiarity with the AS400 is a plus

Responsibilities

Accurately process all routine provider and direct member claims.
Perform duties such as electronically saving batches, responding to emails, and viewing plan sheets to ensure accurate payments.
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting errors and conducting weekly quality assurance on direct member reimbursement claims.
Enter information in the database for all non-participating locations.
Contact provider offices to close authorizations.
