About The Position

As a Data Governance Lead on this project, you'll review functional requirements and assist with functional specifications supporting our client's data governance initiatives. You'll work directly with our customers to develop insights into business and data models and perform data analysis activities to identify relational data issues.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in a data governance or data management role.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview.
• Strong experience working with SQL queries.
• Experience designing and executing Critical Data Elements (CDEs).
• Experience working in a data catalog, preferably Informatica Data Catalog.
• Strong understanding of Data Domain Design, and familiarity or exposure to data product definition and data quality rules.
• Metadata management and business glossary experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in the utilities and/or consulting industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide data governance expertise to a team implementing Purview.
• Provide best practice design and support for clients in establishing data domains and critical data elements (CDEs).
• Lead data owner and data steward training.
