About The Position

Welcome to Love's! We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Data Manager to oversee the collection, integration, governance, and analysis of supply chain data. This is a technical role that will be responsible for managing a team of data analysts to ensure that data assets are accurate, accessible, and leveraged to optimize supply chain operations, improve decision-making, and support digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative innovator and active contributor with a strong command of data, governance, data solutions, and integrations and the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving a culture of data integrity and enabling decision-making through data insights. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years of experience in data technologies
5+ years of experience using SQL and Snowflake
3+ years in a leadership role
Command of data governance practices
Thorough knowledge of Software Development and Project Management Lifecycles
Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and related data required
Proficiency in SQL query writing and optimization
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, specifically Snowflake
Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools, particularly PowerBI, for creating reports and dashboards
Data modeling/diagramming skills (Lucid, Visio, etc.)
Management skills in coaching, development, and leading others.
Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high-stress environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail
Strong focus on Customer commitment

Nice To Haves

Experience with data catalog or metadata management tools, such as Alation, is a plus

Responsibilities

Build and maintain effective relationships with management, peers, business product owners, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibility for data platforms in supply chain, including Master Data Management (Syniti Knowledge Platform), item master/pricebook (SAP), product lifecycle management (BambooRose PLM), and Supply Chain Data Warehouse (Snowflake)
Responsible for collaborating within technology teams and business stakeholders to roadmap data needs and their prioritization, with the ability to translate data into business value.
Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams on meeting business objectives through data enabled solutions.
Lead a team of data analysts responsible for master data solutions, data integrations, and supply chain analytics.
Train and mentor team and stakeholders on data literacy and tools.
Ensure seamless data flow between data sources that support supply chain, including SAP, Blue Yonder, Manhattan WMS/TMS, Anaplan Merchandise Financial Planning, etc.
Provide direction and make decisions about data integration strategies and practices across data solutions in Supply Chain.
Monitor performance of data integrations and implement solutions to optimize performance and self-heal.
Oversee supply chain master data management for suppliers, products, and logistics partners.
Partner with supply chain leaders to identify KPIs and design solutions to provide visibility and ensure accuracy of KPIs
Drive collaboration with internal teams and third-party partners to identify AI opportunities and extend AI capabilities.
Leverage AI tools to automate data preparation, uncover data insights, and enable natural language queries using tools such as Snowflake’s Cortex and Intelligence platforms and machine learning
Lead AI initiatives for data modeling, data integrity, and data processing
Lead development of agentic AI data agents to explore datasets, monitor KPIs, identify trends and anomalies, etc. and define actionable opportunities and risks
Ensure completion of gap analysis, solution assessments, and evaluation of options, presenting recommendations to business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Responsible for completion and accuracy of data documentation, including definitions and use, logical data models, data relationships, and design documents.
Build practices and solutions to validate data accuracy and completeness
Ensure test cases, test scripts, and representative test data are prepared and executed.
Collaborate with test automation engineers to define automation testing strategies for data solutions and integrations for key solutions.
Ensure system reliability of Supply Chain data platforms and execute upgrade and maintenance plans
Prepare change control documentation and present to change advisory board.
