About The Position

The Data Reporting Student Assistant position entails working in the University Advancement Office at Cal State Fullerton. The department focuses on fundraising efforts for donor relations. We are looking for one student assistant who is detail-orientated and willing to work 10-20 hours per week. We are looking to start hiring and training as soon as possible and have employment continue through the academic school years. This position offers the opportunity to develop skills related to working in an office environment and learning behind-the-scenes work that supports Cal State Fullerton Philanthropic Fundraising. A good Data Reporting assistant has programming experience, read data, and has an interest in computer science. Assist staff with daily data checks Assist with additional simple data request and tasks.

  • Read and write English at a level appropriate to the position
  • Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
  • Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
  • In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
  • Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
  • A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for this position.
  • CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information.
  • Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
  • In accordance with the California State University (CSU) Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is a state entity whose business operations reside within the State of California and requires hiring employees to perform CSU related work within the State of California.
