About The Position

The role – what you’ll do The individual in this role will join a talented and collaborative team of digital solutions professionals. This person will support teams and work with various clients on data engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, and agentic systems. Work may also involve working with digital twins, management information systems, and bolstering internal digital technology capabilities. The ideal candidate for this position will meet internal and external client needs with exceptional client service and professionalism. They are adaptable, have strong problem-solving skills and have a desire to learn. They also have a strong team mentality with a willingness to assist where needed to contribute to the group’s success. Your impact – key responsibilities

Requirements

  • Education : bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related program, such as engineering with an emphasis on data science.
  • Software : experience with Azure or similar cloud computing platforms. Experience with Python. Experience building and implementing artificial intelligence workflows. Experience with processing unstructured data via large language models.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and follow-through.
  • Driver’s license: possession of a current, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Create, deploy, and maintain artificial intelligence workflows.
  • Implement agent scaffolding to optimize instructions, skills, tools, and context retrieval.
  • Orchestrate teams of agents and subagents.
  • Design, test, and deploy machine learning models.
  • Perform data analysis, including data cleansing, data quality reviews, data visualization, statistical analysis, and model development and deployment
  • Integrate data sources and support building of data pipelines
  • Perform reviews to improve the accuracy of the data warehouse and reporting.
  • Participate in Barr’s Data Resource Group and support technology for a wide variety of engineering, environmental, and scientific project work.
  • Participate in process improvements and special projects as assigned by data scientists and engineers.
