About The Position

Streamlining production workflows, building mission-critical models, and precise extraction and analysis of geospatial data are essential to production and planning efficiency and can be the defining advantage for mission-success for our troops abroad.
As a Data Scientist, you will be joining XTS’s mission-ready, efficient, and collaborative team supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). In this role, you will be transforming complex analytical models into enriching GEOINT datasets, collaborating with GEOINT analysts and branch leadership to aid in product development and decision-making, and leverage your GEOINT specialty and programming proficiency for workflow automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience
• 5 years of relevant experience may be provided in lieu of degree
• Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to sit for CI Polygraph
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and modeling
• Experience supporting GEOINT or intelligence analysis environments within NGA or DoD
• Understanding of GEOINT standards and analytical tradecraft fundamentals
• Familiarity with geospatial tools such as ArcGIS or similar platforms
• Experience automating workflows or building dashboards that support recurring analytic outputs
• Demonstrated ability to develop and refine analytic models that structure and quantify complex data attributes
• Ability to manage and structure datasets to improve accessibility and analytic clarity
• Strong communication skills to explain model logic and analytic outputs to analysts and stakeholders.
