About The Position

Bring your skills and experience as a Data Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale solutions that enable advanced analytics, AI-driven capabilities, and seamless integration across Bell’s technology ecosystem. This role is critical to Bell’s digital transformation—modernizing legacy systems, enabling AI-ready data ecosystems, and fostering architectural excellence. You will own the vision and backlog for key data products while driving technical architecture and execution across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other similar discipline is required.
  • 10+ years experience in Information Technology (IT) and/or other IT related role.
  • Expertise in software architecture, API design, and cloud-native platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering, data integration, and modern data architectures (Data Lakehouse, Databricks).
  • Skilled in Product Ownership, including backlog management, feature prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ability to remove blockers and drive progress across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, PowerShell/Python automation, and governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Kanban workflows and iterative delivery models.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Product Owner for the Enterprise Data Platform, defining vision, prioritizing features, and managing backlog to deliver business-critical capabilities.
  • Align roadmap and architecture decisions with Bell’s data strategy, ensuring scalability, governance, and AI enablement.
  • Architect and optimize API layers, Data Lakehouse and integration patterns for secure, governed, and high-performance access to enterprise data and services.
  • Provide technical leadership across teams, guiding design reviews and ensuring adherence to enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and vendor teams to unblock technical challenges, resolve dependencies, and maintain delivery velocity.
  • Champion CI/CD adoption and automation for data pipelines and release processes to accelerate delivery and reduce risk.
  • Mentor engineers in Python, Spark, Databricks, and event-driven orchestration to upskill the team for modern data engineering practices.
  • Influence enterprise architecture strategy, including system modeling using tools like CAMEO to document architecture, data flows, and interfaces.
  • Communicate architecture decisions and technical strategy through clear documentation, design reviews, and stakeholder engagement.
