About The Position

As a Data Transformation Professional, you will be a central operational figure within our Tax Data Operations (TDO) workflow. You will manage the journey of complex data through a multi-stage pipeline—balancing automated systems with manual checkpoints to ensure integrity from initial intake to final reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented analyst who thrives in high-volume, high-risk environments and enjoys the challenge of maintaining tight Production SLAs.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • SQL Mastery: 1+ years of hands-on experience with SQL & T-SQL and ETL tools (SSIS).
  • Data Operations: 1+ years of experience monitoring data loads and utilizing Operational Dashboard KPIs for root cause analysis.
  • Systems Fluency: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Analysis: Ability to translate conceptual business needs into technical requirements and functional tasks.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong process-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex "swimlane" workflows.
  • Communication: Ability to translate technical data issues into actionable requests for non-technical stakeholders across a geographically dispersed organization.
  • Diligence: Extreme attention to detail when managing "Error" and "Mismatch" loops to prevent data corruption.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Real Estate industry, specifically with MLS, Appraisal, or Building Permit data.
  • Programming: Hands-on experience with C#.
  • File Formats: Intermediate to advanced experience with diverse and complex data file formats.

Responsibilities

  • Data Pipeline Management: Maintain existing and develop new data curation logic. Monitor the pipeline for bottlenecks, troubleshoot "abnormal job terminations," and ensure data quality before it moves to the next production step.
  • Technical Execution: Use SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and proprietary tools to query, manipulate, and prepare complex datasets for the Cotality Smart Data Platform.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engagement Teams: Coordinate raw data ingestion and resolve "Decision Diamond" triggers requiring external clarification. Central Services: Maintain the "Single Source of Truth" within master databases and collaborate on Entity/Account updates. Analytics & Management: Escalate value mismatches and provide validated datasets to support final client deliverables.
  • Process Improvement: Research industry trends to incorporate new data capture methods. Proactively identify ways to improve system effectiveness and document results to ensure long-term quality.
  • Special Projects: Support custom report development, specialized product support for national accounts, and provide mentoring to junior team members.

  • Time off: Generous PTO and 11 paid holidays, plus well-being and volunteer time off.
  • Family Support: Up to 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave and a baby stipend.
  • Health: Multiple medical plan options with mental health and wellness support offerings.
  • Retirement: 401(k) with company match and vesting after one year.
  • Financial Perks: $400 annual well-being stipend and tuition assistance up to $5,250.
  • Extras: Recognition Rewards, Referral bonuses, exclusive discounts and more!
