About The Position
Freedom Challenge USA is seeking a Data Volunteer to support a short-term project focused on organizing and summarizing event data from previous years. This is a fully remote, unpaid volunteer position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with spreadsheets, organizing information, and helping teams make informed decisions through clear data summaries.
Requirements
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and able to work independently
- Willing to ask questions and clarify project needs
Nice To Haves
- Interest in nonprofit work or data analytics (helpful but not required)
Responsibilities
- Gather and organize event data from past Freedom Challenge events
- Clean, sort, and standardize information across spreadsheets
- Create simple summaries, charts, or basic dashboards to highlight trends
- Develop clear documentation so staff can update or use the data in the future
- Collaborate with Freedom Challenge staff throughout the project
