We are looking for a Sr. Datawarehouse and BI Developer to join our IT team. This person will be in charge of our Datawarehouse, Data Models, and Power BI Reports and will be the main person supporting our FP&A team with their reporting needs. Compensation: $115,000+ (Depends on Experience) Job Type: Full time (In office 4 days +1 day from home) Location: 3040 Post Oak Blvd. Houston Tx (Galleria Area) Must be located in Houston, TX prior to consideration NO AGENCIES OR THIRD PARTY STAFFING COMPANIES. Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business or Information Science.
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 onwards, Transact-SQL, and Business Intelligence Development Studio (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Visual Studio).
Strong experience designing robist, performant semantic models in Power BI using DAX
Ability to build intuitive, user-friendly, and performance optimized reports and dashboards
Knowledge in Azure Data Factory and Pipelines
Familiarity with organizing content in Fabric workspaces and promoting content through environments
Experience in Fabric platform including understanding how it integrates data lakes, pipelines and the semantic layer
Comfortable working with data sourced from Fabric Dataflows, Lakehouses or Synapse Data Warehouses
Familiarity with Git for managing dataset and report changes is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) required.
Detail oriented and ability to work in a team setting.
Ability to work closely with the FP&A team to translate requirements into scalable reporting solutions
Maintains a positive attitude
Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and exercise good judgment.
Good customer skills
Willing to learn new systems and technology

Nice To Haves

Jet Analytics/Jet Reports experience a plus

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and tune existing Data Models, Dashboards and Reporting systems
Write and modify Power BI reports
Create and Modify SSIS Packages as needed
Design and improve current ETL processes
Maintain Azure Devops Pipelines
Create and update Power BI Data Models in Fabric
Own and develop relationships with the FP&A Team, working with them to provide consistent, accurate and concise data for reporting
Help design, document and maintain system processes
Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
