We are looking for a reliable Day Porter to join our team at Chapel Hill High. This is a vital role that ensures the school runs smoothly and remains tidy throughout the busy academic day. Schedule & Hours Shift: Monday – Friday Hours: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM Status: Full-Time

Requirements

• Experience: At least 1 year of professional janitorial or custodial experience.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
• Reliability: Strong attendance record and a professional, helpful attitude toward students and faculty.
• Compliance: Ability to pass standard background checks required for working in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Restocking: Ensuring all bathrooms and supply closets are fully stocked with essentials.
• Sanitation: Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms throughout the shift.
• Waste Management: Pulling trash and recycling to keep the facility debris-free.
• General Maintenance: Dusting, vacuuming high-traffic areas, and performing general floor care.
• Support: Carrying out additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support school events or needs.
