About The Position

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.
Day Program Assistant – Join Our Caring Team!
Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Starting Pay: $16/hour
Preliminary Requirements:
Proof of valid driver’s license held for at least one year with good driving record
Ability to attend orientation and training

As a Day Program Assistant, you will support to our clients, providing a safe environment to learn and grow in. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, and a genuine heart for caring.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in human services or caregiving preferred
• Valid, non-probationary driver’s license with no restrictions or provisions
• Successful background check clearance
• Caring attitude and dedication to supporting others
• Ability and willingness to safely bend and lift to assist clients

Nice To Haves

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in human services or caregiving preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and care
• Help transport clients to appointments utilizing company vehicles as needed
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Support wheelchair assistance and safe transportation
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Ensure overall safety and well-being of clients
• Use proper lifting and bending techniques to physically support clients
