Bittersweet Farms is seeking a driven, compassionate Day Program Staffing Manager to lead a team of Direct Support Professionals and support adults with autism in a meaningful, person-centered environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field or related field (Required)
- 3–5 years working with individuals with autism/developmental disabilities (Required)
- 2+ years leadership experience (Required)
- Valid driver’s license & Auto Insurance with clean driving record
- Ability to multitask and participate in on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, train, and support a team of 30 + Direct Support Professionals
- Drive team development and uphold Bittersweet’s mission
- Ensure staff follow Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
- Create staff schedules and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with interviewing and hiring
- Lead weekly and monthly staff meetings
- Report medical/safety concerns and MUIs immediately
- Promote independence, communication, empowerment, and skill development for participants
