Our offerings include theatre and film, music, dance and fitness, and fine arts and crafts. Students are provided the space to showcase their talents all while building skills, teamwork, and long-term goal setting along the way. We are looking for a passionate, person-centered Program Manager who can lead and develop employees and students aligning with Mains’l Vision, Mission, and Values. This role oversees daily program operations, stakeholder relationships, staff development, compliance, and financial health to ensure excellent outcomes for the people we support.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to supervise detailed work and manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge on person-centered practices and support
  • Financial awareness and budget management skills
  • Ability to learn and use electronic documentation systems
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Previous caregiving experience required, or similar
  • Ability to pass a background check through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI check if applicable
  • Valid Drivers’ license
  • Safe and reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • TB (Tuberculosis) Skin Test
  • Physical, if applicable

  • Previous managerial experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Support Coordinators (SCs), and Program Specialist (PSs)
  • Model and promote Mains’l Mission, Vision, Values, and Person-Centered Practices
  • Ensure program meets HCBS Final Rule Guidelines, licensing standards, and quality expectations
  • Manage assigned caseload, including referrals, admissions, and Start of Service processes
  • Develop and update person-centered descriptions and goal plans
  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders professionally and in a timely manner
  • Hire, onboard, and develop employees in partnership with HR and recruiting
  • Provide regular coaching, performance feedback, annual evaluations and recognition
  • Maintain staff ratios, manage schedules, approve timecards, department budget, and attendance
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure coordinated services
  • Provide direct support
