Pay Base salary $100,000–$130,000 annually, plus our performance-based incentive program How Your Role Fits In As the Distribution Center Manager (DCM) for our Savage facility, you will be responsible for the overall operations of the facility. This position will be responsible for planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing, decision making, and working directly with our customer base.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of management experience, including financial responsibility
  • Education: Associate’s degree in business management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field preferred
  • Additional skill sets: Proficiency with MS Office suite, Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Lead the customer service, customer business reviews, and daily execution for all customers in the facility.
  • Team Management: Lead the salaried and nonexempt team in the facility through effective communication and operational planning.
  • Employee Development: Motivate, coach, and appraise employee performance, fostering a productive and positive work environment. Provide necessary training and development for effective execution of Safety, Food Safety, and operational SOPs.
  • Leadership Training: Participate in leadership training programs to enhance leadership skills and effectiveness as well as coach, influence, organize, and manage a team toward a common goal. Lead the succession planning for the facility.
  • Financial Aptitude: Accountable for the financial performance of the facility. Ability to understand, explain, and manage facility budget and operations P&L statements.
  • KPI Management: Lead operational excellence to deliver both customer and WOW KPIs.
  • Performance Review & Appraisal: Write and conduct performance reviews to assess and enhance employee performance. Develop individual performance goals to drive growth and accountability.
  • Policy Enforcement: Uphold company policies consistently and fairly to maintain compliance and workplace standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote a safe work environment, adhering to OSHA standards, food safety standards, and assisting in safety training sessions and meetings to promote a culture of safety.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory accuracy and cycle counting to drive quality of service and efficiencies in the operations.
  • Communication: Lead the quality and effectiveness of team communication to provide clarity in business objectives, performance, and priorities.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage resources and time to organize and complete work within deadlines.
  • Problem-solving/Project Management: Develop a culture of continuous improvement to deliver improved service and efficiencies in the operations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
