DC Spotter (Illinois)

A spotter is responsible for moving trailers and containers within a warehouse yard, distribution center, or large industrial facility. Their main job is to ensure the efficient and safe movement of goods to and from loading docks and storage areas. Nice To Haves
- At Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Previous experience with powered industrial equipment

Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

- Responsible for moving containers/trailers with spotter truck to areas around the warehouse.
- Responsible for complete paperwork necessary to complete job daily.
- Required to properly scale a trailer.
- Responsible for compliance in all aspects of equipment and grounds relating to all aspects of Rural King Distribution Center
- Ensure all quality and production goals are met daily, weekly and monthly
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- May be required to cross train and perform other duties
