About The Position

Requirements

Application of control loops to provide machine control
Programming for controllers (DDC/PLC)
AutoCAD Electrical experience
Effective communication skills, both written and oral
Demonstrated problem solver & team player
Ability to successfully plan work to meet deadlines
Understanding of HVAC Systems
Willingness to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

Assist with design & testing of completed systems
Research new controls solutions such as sensors, actuators, VFDs, and networks
Develop custom air handler solutions by selecting components, generating schematic drawings, and preparing parts lists
Support new product development with conceptual designs and layouts
Develop controls programs for complex air handlers and heat transfer systems
Participate in Kaizen and other cross-functional teams to improve designs
Provide RFE Support with updating existing systems
Support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities through improved product design / design for manufacturing (DFM)
Offer technical support of products post-shipping
