About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Dealer Development Manager - APD in the United States. This role is a high-impact position focused on driving growth and strengthening relationships within a network of automotive dealerships. You will manage a portfolio of existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities, providing finance and insurance services that enhance dealer operations and customer satisfaction. Working across a broad territory, you will leverage CRM tools, analytics, and personal engagement to grow production and build strategic partnerships. The role requires a combination of business development, relationship management, and operational excellence, offering autonomy, mobility, and the opportunity to influence results across the automotive sales ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2–5 years of business-to-business sales experience in the automotive industry preferred
  • Experience in retail automotive operations preferred
  • Strong focus on customer service with excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Organized problem-solving approach and attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel 50–75% of the time by air or car
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and its territories

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance relationships with dealership personnel and key decision-makers
  • Execute strategies to increase production within existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities
  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads, analyze interactions, and identify opportunities for growth
  • Maintain ongoing communication with dealers to ensure visibility, accountability, and high-quality service
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to the evaluation of competitive programs and products
  • Leverage networking, cold calling, and referrals to generate sales opportunities
  • Navigate multi-department projects to successful completion while maintaining excellent follow-up
