About The Position

We’re looking for a high-energy, results-driven Performance Coach to join our Southern California team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll provide on-site coaching, training, and consulting to dealership teams - helping them optimize digital sales processes, improve customer engagement, and increase profitability. You'll be part of a forward-thinking team shaping the future of automotive retail.

Requirements

  • Must live in Southern California
  • 5+ years in dealership operations, BDC, or sales management
  • Strong ability to present, influence, and build trust across all levels of a dealership.
  • Skilled in using and training others on SaaS tools that support automotive sales and service performance.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management—able to manage your calendar, accounts, and in-store coaching independently.
  • Able and willing to travel at least 16+ days per month.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with digital retailing platforms is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in training, coaching, or vendor-facing roles supporting dealerships is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver dynamic, in-person coaching on digital retailing strategies, online-to-showroom lead flow, and modern sales practices.
  • Guide teams on process adoption for both showroom and internet sales, ensuring high utilization of dealer technology platforms.
  • Work with all levels of dealership staff—executives, sales managers, service teams, and BDCs—to align on performance goals and implementation.
  • Help dealerships transition from traditional to modern selling approaches by coaching on end-to-end digital workflows, from online lead response to vehicle delivery.
  • Provide training on SaaS-based tools that support digital retailing, communication automation, and performance tracking.
  • Build strong client relationships through ongoing support, follow-ups, and performance reviews.
  • Identify performance gaps and tailor solutions based on dealership structure and customer experience goals.
  • Collaborate with dealer leadership to execute change management strategies and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Leverage insights and reporting tools to track progress and reinforce training effectiveness.
  • Spend a minimum of 75% of your time traveling to dealership locations across the region and U.S.
  • Actively engage onsite with teams to assess, train, and support in real-time.
