About The Position
The Dealer Production Specialist (DPS) plays a critical role in supporting Golden 1 Credit Union’s indirect auto lending program by enhancing responsiveness, increasing funded-loan conversion rates, and improving communication between Lending Operations and Dealer Relationship Managers (DRMs). This position serves as an inside production resource focused on real-time pipeline management, approved/countered deal follow-up, and inactive dealer reactivation. The DPS bridges the gap between the field and internal operations—driving efficiency, speed, and improved dealer satisfaction. The DPS is responsible for ensuring timely dealer engagement following loan approvals, identifying funding obstacles, and coordinating resolution efforts. The role will contribute directly to funded-volume growth, dealer retention, and market share expansion within Golden 1’s indirect lending channel.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of indirect auto lending processes and dealership operations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven capacity to interpret data, identify trends, and execute proactive outreach.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.
- Effective oral and written communication skills required to perform the duties outlined above.
- Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, facsimile machine and telephone.
- Associates Degree in Business Management or Finance. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for the associate’s degree requirement.
- 5 or more years of experience performing similar jobs in a financial institution
