About The Position

Provide administrative support in the School of Education Dean’s Office. Job Description: Greet visitors with excellent customer service Provide general office, administrative, or clerical support May assist with handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls, messages and mail May assist with routing and resolving questions or information requests May assist with document preparation, filing, office records Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information May assist with office supplies and organization of common areas May assist with data entry tasks, spreadsheets and reports Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission Ability to comply with University policies Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Requirements

  • Must be a current Baylor Student
  • Must be on time and willing to work
  • Friendly and effective communicator
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support at the reception desk.
  • Greet and assist visitors, faculty, staff, and students as needed.
  • Answer the telephone in a professional manner.
  • Various office tasks that may include the use of Canva, MS Word, Teams, etc.
  • Distribute mail to departments within the building.
  • Complete tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Help as needed with events. May include lifting items no more than 50 lbs.
  • Inventory supplies for ordering purposes.
  • Check printers and refill paper when necessary.
  • Stock conference room and kitchen as needed
