As valued team members, students are also encouraged to share and implement their own ideas, enhancing both their personal growth and the collective success of the team.  Job Description Assignment Purpose/Scope: Support onsite supplier logistics production to ensure the supplier’s lineside delivery performance in series. Use efficient problem-solving processes to maintain performance. Support supplier requalification by assisting with project management tasks including KPI reporting, status reports, 8D, and FMEA. Analyze data from 8D and FMEA to develop concrete solutions for wrong delivery prevention. Assist in the development of i-Learn classes and track training completion for the LQS competency concept. Conduct KPI reporting by processing data in SAP, SQL, and Power BI, including running weekly and daily reports, data mining, and creating/maintaining visualization tools. Support supplier communication development. Maintain the electronic team board as a key user.

Requirements

  • Ideally completed or be an upperclassman by credit hours in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field with a preferred GPA of 3.4 or above.
  • Strong interpersonal and technical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (experience with VLOOKUP, Macros, etc. preferred).
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from their current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • Work term dates are August 10th - December 11th, 2026.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Data Lake, or similar tools is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Support onsite supplier logistics production to ensure the supplier’s lineside delivery performance in series.

  • Conduct KPI reporting by processing data in SAP, SQL, and Power BI, including running weekly and daily reports, data mining, and creating/maintaining visualization tools.
  • Support supplier communication development.
  • Maintain the electronic team board as a key user.
  • Audit rack cleanliness weekly through GEMBA walks in Hall 50 and Hall 52; document non-conformance for supplier charging.
  • Support project management tasks including KPI reporting, status reports, 8D, and FMEA.
  • Standardize daily LQS activities related to supplier communication of issues, LOP management, and system updates.
