About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and EXPERIENCED Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in route and delivery driving, particularly in the four boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Queens). Applicants should possess excellent customer service skills. This position involves driving various box trucks and requires the ability to handle heavy lifting. All vehicles are automatic. Responsibilities - This position works four days per week, never Sundays; - Days start between 3 a.m . and 5 a.m.; - Safely drive trucks to transport and deliver food products; - Unload cargo; - Follow specific routes and time schedules; - Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; - Use our software to ensure proper logs of your work; - Provide excellent customer service. Requirements
- Valid and clean driver's license (NON-CDL/CDL)
- Must have an active DOT Medical Card
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and other unloading equipment
- Proficient in route driving and navigation
- Strong physical stamina for lifting
- Must drive in NYC
- Proven experience in safe commercial driving -- CDL not required.
- Familiarity with operating box trucks and making deliveries to various addresses.
- Ability to lift objects and perform physical tasks.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.
