About The Position
Looking to get out from behind a desk or away from a warehouse? Do you enjoy interaction with customers? PA’s leading distributor of janitorial and office supplies is currently seeking a motivated employee to fulfill a unique dual-role position within our Distribution Department. This individual would provide both warehouse duties, and fill in as a delivery driver when needed. What you’ll do:
Requirements
- Knowledge of driving both forklift and pickers
- Operation of 26’ box truck with lift gate
- Truck routes are ALWAYS local, meaning you’re home daily!
- NO CDL is required!
Responsibilities
- Receive product accurately and note any discrepancies
- Stage orders for outbound delivery to assure accuracy
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
- Drive 26’ box truck to customer locations and unload at designated customer delivery areas
- Ensure customer satisfaction upon delivery of orders.
- Adhere to all DOT and safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
