About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Associate to join our Denver team on site at 4200 Carson Street, Denver CO 80239. You play a crucial role in customer experience, serving as the final step in bringing our high-quality windows and doors directly to homeowners and contractors. Your ability to safely and efficiently deliver our products helps maintain Pella’s reputation for reliability, precision, and excellence. Joining our team in Denver means becoming a key player in an established and thriving market while contributing to the success and satisfaction of every customer. This role is Monday - Friday and shift starts at 6:30a. NO Weekends.

Requirements

  • Professionalism and Independence: A motivated, independent professional who takes ownership of their work. References are required to demonstrate accountability and reliability.
  • Driver Current Qualifications: A Class A driver’s license with air brake endorsement and a clean driving record are essential for this role.
  • Education: A high school diploma is required, and 1-3 years of current experience preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Effectively present information and respond to questions, fostering positive interactions with customers and team members alike.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic calculations is necessary for managing deliveries and COD transactions.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction
  • Lift up to 100 lbs. unassisted and over 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Pass a physical fitness test to meet the physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Load and Unload with Precision: Safely load and unload our premium window and door products for multi-state deliveries, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.
  • Conduct Quality Control: Inspect shipments at job sites to verify product quality and accuracy, ensuring that every delivery meets our high standards.
  • Utilize Technology for Efficiency: Use inventory scanners for reconciling and managing outbound shipments, helping maintain seamless logistical operations.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Interact directly with customers, delivering not only products but also a commitment to excellence and satisfaction.
  • Perform Vehicle Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of your assigned vehicle, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and the highest standards of safety.
  • Handle COD Transactions: Collect cash on delivery (COD) when necessary, managing transactions with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Adapt to Additional Duties: This is a team environment. Candidates must embrace flexibility by taking on other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to a collaborative and effective work environment.
