As a Wholesale Demand Planner, you’ll play a critical role in shaping Funko’s demand strategy by creating accurate, actionable forecasts that balance revenue growth with inventory health. You’ll partner cross-functionally to translate sales, marketing, and pop culture trends into reliable demand signals that power our supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning.
  • Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Working knowledge of demand planning and forecasting tools and methodology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally across multiple leadership levels.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage short- and long-range item level forecasts to support strategic planning and future product line decisions; while minimizing inventory risk and maximizing revenue.
  • Analyze historical sales, seasonality, and demand drivers such as new launches, promotions, pricing changes, and product obsolescence, while incorporating pop culture and fandom trends (movie releases, anniversaries, cultural moments, IP momentum) into forecast assumptions.
  • Reduce forecast error and volatility through continuous process improvement and KPI monitoring.
  • Assist in quarterly category forecast reviews with Merchandising, Licensing, and Marketing to align forecasts with the merchandising vision.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Supply Planning, and Operations to align demand signals with supply execution communicating forecast risks and opportunities proactively to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
  • Facilitate monthly demand reviews, reporting on forecast accuracy, YOY trends, and performance gaps, lead root-cause analysis and recommend mitigating actions.
  • Maintain demand planning systems and ensure high-quality master data through ongoing data hygiene and governance.
