About The Position

Essity is looking for an experienced Demand Planning Manager who will be responsible for delivering accurate sales forecasts to sales & production organizations in order to fulfil our customer orders. They will need to create Mid/Long term forecasts for supply chain efficiency to help decision making. The role delivers an accurate forecast to support the Customer Business Plans/Strategy and continuously improves the demand management processes for Sales & Operations Planning. Requirements

• 5+ Years of Demand/Supply Chain experience
• Bachelors degree required preferably Business, Analytics, or Supply Chain
• Experience in leading and motivating teams
• Background in delivering exceptional demand planning services
• SAP and Excel experience required
• Strategic Thinking - Aligning team goals with business objectives.
• Adaptability - Flexibility in response to changing priorities.
• Communication - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel up to 20% of the time

Responsibilities

• Lead the Demand Planning team
• Acts as the main regional contact to the central demand planning hub and ensures all demand planning global processes are adhered to
• Responsible for accurate and up-to-date data and parameters in the ERP System to generate accurate base and promotional sales demand at article / customer level for the sales organization.
• Analyze & report data and establish systematic gap analysis between forecasts and actual orders, review and investigate promotional activity performance; providing pre, during, and post evaluations to the Sales team, supporting the delivery of key business targets.
• Communicate and coordinate with Service Management, Marketing and the Sales organization to gain an understanding of market/customer ordering behavior.
• Identify/Contribute to the continuous improvement opportunities in relation to demand planning processes and systems.
