About The Position

The Demand Planning & Strategy Analyst serves as a strategic partner to operations, sales, and manufacturing teams by driving advanced demand planning, supply network optimization, and data-driven decision making across the medical supply distribution network. This role combines forecasting expertise, supply chain analytics, and process improvement leadership to enhance forecast accuracy, improve service levels, and optimize finished goods availability. The analyst will develop forecasting frameworks, guide planning processes, and provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making and operational execution. The ideal candidate brings experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, and cross-functional consulting, along with an understanding of the service-level and compliance expectations within the medical supply industry. The anticipated salary range for this position is $145,000. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain consulting.
  • Experience working with finished goods planning in service-critical industries (medical supplies, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and supply chain planning tools.
  • Ability to translate complex supply chain data into strategic insights and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting S&OP / IBP processes and cross-functional planning alignment.
  • Experience leading or supporting customer collaborative forecasting or CPFR initiatives.
  • Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments and supply chain compliance requirements.
  • Experience building dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with supply chain planning systems such as SAP Integrated Business Planning, Kinaxis RapidResponse, Oracle Supply Chain Planning, or Blue Yonder.
