About The Position

Assists faculty, residents, and dental students chairside in patient care. Taking and developing X-rays, Instruction of preventative dental techniques, and oral hygiene with patients. Maintain dental records in axiUm. Maintain operatories, stock mobiles, and ensure regular maintenance of clinical equipment. Assist in organizing and controlling the use of clinic supplies and medications. Assists in the sterilization of instruments Participate in student education of auxiliary utilization. Learn new ways and methods through participating in in-service training (i.e. maintain current CPR certification, six hours of credit every two years) Assist as needed with answering phones and making patient appointments

Requirements

  • High school diploma and one year of appropriate experience and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
