Your Role As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in helping our doctors deliver world-class care and ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit. You’ll take ownership of both clinical and administrative tasks to help our office run smoothly and efficiently. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience (specialty experience preferred)
  • X-ray certification required
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • High attention to detail and reliability
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
  • Active state radiology license (if required by law)

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and prepare them for treatment with warmth and professionalism
  • Set up instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures
  • Sterilize instruments according to safety and infection control standards
  • Assist the doctor with four-handed dentistry
  • Provide post-treatment and oral hygiene instructions to patients
  • Maintain clean, well-stocked operatories and organized records
  • Schedule appointments and assist with post-op follow-ups
  • Support administrative and payment procedures as needed
