About The Position

Overview Meydenbauer Dental has been in the Bellevue Community for over 75 years! We pride ourselves on taking a personalized, patient-centered approach with an emphasis on prevention. Our practice is passionate about helping our patients while also maintaining a supportive work environment for our staff. We are looking for someone who is a team player and a quick learner. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual. We have a busy practice with 9 operatories; up to 3 doctors and 4 hygienists working at a time. We have an iTero and a CEREC, both of which are used regularly. We use Dentrix for our EHR and DEXIS for radiographs. Compensation $28-33 per hour, depending on experience Schedule Part-time Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Requirements

Experience with crown procedures, including packing cord, is a must
Willingness to learn front office duties
Experience with Dentrix software

Responsibilities

Assist doctors chair-side on Mondays for basic restorative, simple extractions, and Invisalign treatment
Take intraoral and panoramic radiographs
Run sterilization with other assistants
Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment, as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chart
Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
Scan patients with iTero for various appliances and Invisalign treatment, and deliver appliances.
See pediatric patients for prophylaxis, sealants, etc.
Assist in the front office on Tues and Friday answering phones, verifying eligibility, etc.
