Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Dental Insurance Biller to manage all aspects of insurance claims, accounts receivable, and revenue cycle processes. The ideal candidate is experienced in dental billing, persistent with follow-ups, and confident communicating with insurance companies and patients regarding financial matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of dental billing experience (required)
  • Strong understanding of dental insurance plans (PPO, HMO, Medicaid preferred)
  • Experience with practice management software
  • Knowledge of CDT coding and claim submission processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional, team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

  • Submit accurate and timely dental insurance claims (electronic and paper)
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Post insurance and patient payments
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable (A/R)
  • Follow up on outstanding claims and denied claims
  • Appeal claim denials and underpayments
  • Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve discrepancies
  • Review EOBs for accuracy
  • Work closely with front desk and clinical team to ensure proper documentation
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and insurance guidelines
