Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to our clientele by answering their questions and by recommending the appropriate items to complete customer's projects.
- In conjunction with the Store Manager, responsible for the operational performance of their assigned department.
- Assists customers with product information, selection and purchase. Offers solutions for out of stock items.
- Maintains department inventory, including cycle counts, in an effort to maximize sales and inventory turn.
- Ensures safety at all times.
- Assists in training department and store personnel in your assigned functions, including sales and customer service techniques.
- Ensures the appearance of the store’s interior and exterior are maintained to standards.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience preferred but not required.
