About The Position

The Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) serves as the CEO’s principal deputy and a key leader responsible for driving organizational excellence, oversight, and alignment. This role ensures all programs, services, and operations meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and effectiveness while advancing the organization’s mission and long‑term sustainability. Overseeing the Chief Strategy Officer and PSA Directors, the DCE leads cross‑departmental execution, strengthens operational performance, and fosters a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. With authority to act on behalf of the CEO, the DCE provides strategic leadership, promotes ethical and inclusive practices, supports organizational growth and financial stewardship, and ensures consistent, high‑quality service delivery across all areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Public Health, Business Administration, Quality/Compliance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5- 10 years demonstrated expertise in quality assurance, compliance, program evaluation, or regulatory oversight, supervisory and leadership development.
  • Proven track record of leading multi‑departmental teams and managing complex organizational systems.
  • Experience working with federal, state, and local regulatory frameworks, accreditation bodies, and grant compliance.
  • Experience serving as a second‑in‑command or executive leader overseeing multiple departments is highly desirable.
