NISSC 3 Deputy Program Manager
About The Position
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Deputy Program Manager with 11+ years of experience and a TS/SCI Clearance to support The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) -Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract III Mission. These positions are being posted in anticipation of future employment opportunities, which may become available beginning around June 2026. Actual hiring and start dates will depend on contract award, organizational needs and other factors. Candidates may be considered for these or similar positions as opportunities arise.
Requirements
- Bachelors in IT, Cyber, CS, IS, Data Science, or SW Engineering OR equivalent DoD/Military training
- Top Secret/ SCI
- CCE, CCISO, CISM, CISSO, CISSP, DAWIA PM Advanced, GFACT, or GSLC certification.
- 11+ Years
- Proficiency in managing contract operations and strategic initiatives while providing oversight on staff allocation and resource use is required.
- Strong organizational skills are essential to track status and manage deliverables effectively, ensuring adherence to program controls.
- Capability to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders and maintain compliance with reporting standards is advantageous.
- Experience in administrative roles coupled with problem-solving skills supports assuming leadership roles when necessitated.
- Skilled in managing and supporting contract personnel, cost, safety, and security.
- Knowledge and compliance with OSHA, AFOSH, and federal safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of contract operations, execution of strategic initiatives, and oversight of staff, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate status tracking, support stakeholder communication, manage deliverables, and ensure compliance with program controls and reporting.
- Serve as acting Program Manager when required.
- Works in close Coordination EDLM/UDLM (Emergency/Urgent Depot Level Maintenance) manager
