About The Position

Deputy Project Manager - USTRANSCOM TransViz / JOPES Functional Management Support The Deputy Project Manager supports the execution and operational management of the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and Transportation Visualizer ( TransViz ) Functional Management Support program. This role assists the Project Manager in coordinating contract activities that enable global force movement planning, transportation feasibility analysis, and operational decision-making across the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise. USTRANSCOM relies on these systems to collect, process, analyze, and visualize transportation data supporting Department of Defense mobility operations. As part of the Trillion program management team, t he Deputy Project Manager provides day-to-day program coordination and oversight of functional management support activities performed by contractor personnel. Responsibilities include assisting with task management, monitoring operational performance, coordinating work schedules, and ensuring functional support activities for JOPES and TransViz applications are executed in accordance with program objectives and government priorities. The Deputy Project Manager works closely with the Project Manager to ensure personnel, resources, and technical activities are aligned to meet mission requirements. This position supports program planning, reporting, and performance monitoring efforts, including preparation and coordination of status reports, operational metrics, and other contract deliverables. The Deputy Project Manager assists with monitoring system status, account administration activities, functional testing results, and operational performance indicators to ensure accurate reporting and timely issue resolution. The role also contributes to implementation and maintenance of the Task Order Management Plan (TOMP), supporting program management processes, organizational coordination, and delivery of contractual requirements. The Deputy Project Manager works with government stakeholders, operational planners, and technical teams to support system improvements and operational effectiveness. Responsibilities may include coordinating meetings and working groups, supporting system demonstrations and training activities, tracking enhancement requests, and assisting with documentation updates such as concept of operations (CONOPS), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guidance. Successful candidates demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills, experience supporting program or project management in Department of Defense environments, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams supporting operational mission systems. Familiarity with JOPES, transportation planning systems, or USTRANSCOM mobility operations is highly desirable , along with the ability to represent Trillion Technology Solutions professionally in support of government mission partners.
