About The Position
An established and growing dermatology and aesthetics practice in western Virginia is seeking a Dermatology-Trained Dermatopathologist to serve as Laboratory Director for a new, state-of-the-art dermatopathology lab. Requirements
- MD or DO with Board Certification in Dermatopathology required. Dermatology or Surgical Pathology–certified physicians with strong dermatopathology experience will also be considered.
- Active, unrestricted medical license (Virginia or eligibility).
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, setup, and management of a new dermatopathology laboratory.
- Ensure quality control, compliance, and efficiency within all lab processes.
- Collaborate with physicians to deliver accurate and timely pathology results.
- Participate in ongoing clinical innovation and team leadership.
