About The Position

Freshmade is a boutique agency that specializes in modernizing food brands through natural brand intelligence, creative thinking, and smart design. Our expertise lies in CPG brand strategy, brand design, brand narrative, and brand activation for both B2C and B2B platforms, anywhere from package design to digital content creation. We are laid-back about most things, but NOT quality of work. We do not settle.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in design, branding, or packaging within a creative or branding agency.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in brand identity, packaging, and visual systems.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, strategic positioning and storytelling abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and craft.
  • Experience building presentations and presenting creative work to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in industry standard design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of high-quality design solutions across brand identity, packaging, campaigns, and visual systems.
  • Set the visual tone and craft standards for projects, ensuring work aligns with the brand strategy and creative vision.
  • Provide clear and inspiring creative direction to designers at all levels.
  • Review and approve creative work to ensure consistency, excellence, and attention to detail.
  • Define and translate strategic insights into compelling visual ideas and design systems.
  • Lead concept development for new business, brand launches, and major creative initiatives.
  • Develop innovative design solutions that balance strategic positioning creativity, storytelling, and functionality.
  • Mentor and develop designers, fostering growth in both craft and conceptual thinking.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to strengthen the team’s creative output.
  • Promote collaboration and open creative dialogue within the design team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure creative solutions meet business objectives
  • Participate in client presentations, articulating design thinking and rationale.
  • Collaborate with production partners to ensure design integrity from concept through final execution.
  • Maintain high standards of design excellence across all key project phases and deliverables.
  • Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all touchpoints.
  • Guide teams through the creative process from ideation to production.
