Design Engineer Co-Op (Summer/Fall 2026)(Onsite)

Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX. Collins Aerospace is currently seeking student engineers for our Military Landing Gear organization located near Fort Worth, TX. Teams are comprised of cross-functional engineers working in an agile environment focused on the design and development of landing gear products. Team culture is extremely collaborative and engaged; we value our customer, our products, and our people (that means you). Gain experience supporting our portfolio of military aircraft includes F-35, T-7A, C-17 and more, fielded on thousands of aircraft today, at this moment. Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run June-December (including the Fall semester); it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Nice To Haves
- Pursuing a Mechanical Engineer degree, Aerospace Engineer degree or equivalent.
- 3D modeling experience - Catia, V5 or higher
Responsibilities
- Work with other Design Engineer's to develop and incorporate changes
- Participate in investigations and root cause development
- Support generation and review of Supplier Data Items
- Have a working knowledge of 3D design software (Catia V5 an asset)
- Proactive self starter, capable of learning new concepts and software quickly
