About The Position

Texas Building Supply, a division of USLBM, serving the major markets in Texas with five building material yards and one window distribution facility across Austin, Houston, Dallas-Ft. Worth and San Antonio. . A Brief Overview The Intern will gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to entry level position under the direction of experienced associates. What you will do Safely perform duties in various aspects of the business such as Yard/Warehouse, Manufacturing, Sales, Operations, and other business functions. Sets performance goals and objectives with location and division leadership. Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of duties. Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and follows all safety procedures; maintains a safe environment. Provide excellent customer service and engage in positive work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g. Office 365, Smartphone, Inventory Control Systems, and other necessary business applications)
• Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems or concerns
