Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Destruction Technician TEMP to join our Operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately and securely processing and destroying all materials delivered to the facility.

Requirements

  • Current experience in a production or warehousing environment.
  • Proven ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy bags, pushing rolling carts, and pulling two-and four-wheeled containers weighing up to 225 pounds.
  • Strong knowledge of machinery operation, with preference given to candidates possessing Bobcat and Forklift experience.
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift in a non-climate controlled atmosphere, which includes about five hours spent on machine operation (Forklift/Bobcat).

Responsibilities

  • Execute the material destruction process, including cutting open bags, dumping payloads, emptying and sorting material by grade.
  • Maintain operational efficiency by safely operating destruction machinery, performing regular equipment cleaning, and handling emergency equipment repairs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance by maintaining strict security of all customer material and vehicles, and keeping the work area clean, following all safety and regulatory standards.
