About The Position

Supports the organization’s digital strategy and business operations by designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining secure, scalable web and mobile applications that improve the experience of members and employees. This role builds and supports internal and external digital platforms—including public websites, intranet, extranet, and digital banking applications—using Optimizely CMS/Commerce (DXP) and Microsoft technologies such as C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF, Razor, and ADO.NET, along with modern front-end frameworks including JavaScript, ReactJS, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS. Working in an Agile environment, the position collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, participate in architecture and design discussions, develop reusable components and APIs, integrate backend systems and databases (SQL Server and Oracle), and ensure applications meet performance, security, and quality standards. This position is hybrid. NYC Salary range: $105,468 - $135,168 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Knowledge of financial/banking industry
5+ years of software development experience on the Microsoft technology stack.
5+ years of backend development experience using C#, .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Razor, and ADO.NET.
5+ years of front-end development experience building responsive and interactive user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap (or similar frameworks).
Experience designing and implementing user-centric web applications, with a strong focus on usability and overall UI/UX experience.
3+ years of database development experience using T-SQL with Microsoft SQL Server.
2+ years of experience developing and consuming web services and APIs, including REST and/or SOAP using Web API or WCF.

Nice To Haves

Experience illustrating design concepts through storyboards, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and UI mockup
Experience implementing complex business workflows and enterprise application logic.
Knowledge of secure application development practices, including implementing security controls in .NET applications and web servers.
Familiarity with modern front-end development tools
Experience developing solutions using Optimizely CMS/Commerce or Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar libraries.
