About The Position

Acentra Health is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to join our growing team. Lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. The ideal candidate will have experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, and a strong understanding of mobile deployment processes, cloud infrastructure, and CMS integrations. You will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and user-friendly mobile experiences that integrate with our evolving backend and content systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or 4 additional years' experience)
• 4+ years of mobile development experience (iOS/Android)
• Proficiency in React Native, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, SSL certificates, and AWS services.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with native mobile development using Swift/SwiftUI (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android)
• Experience with performance monitoring and analytics tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions
• Integrate mobile apps with WordPress CMS (target platform) and assist in migration from Drupal (legacy CMS)
• Implement secure access protocols using SSL certificates
• Manage app deployment and updates on Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Utilize GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation and build process optimization
• Work within AWS cloud infrastructure for hosting, storage, and backend services
• Optimize performance and ensure responsiveness across devices and platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and platform-specific challenges
• Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules
