About The Position

A member of Pine Street Inn's Development team, the Development Coordinator, Advancement Operations, performs a wide variety of professional, administrative and staff support tasks. Reporting to the Director of Development Systems, this position provides general office support for the Advancement Operations team, serves as a point of contact for various inquiries, provides data entry and research support, and tracks expenses. Additionally, this position prepares communication materials for meetings or presentations, presents tours, helps organize mailings, and responds to donor inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of previous Development or non-profit management experience
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and documentation skills
  • Customer service oriented, with a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to seek help and clarification around workload and prioritizing competing demands
  • Ability to work in a changing and busy team environment
  • Knowledge of and experience with MS Office, especially MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and mail-merge functionality
  • Proficient in learning new computer and software systems
