Works with community members and organizations interested in supporting System through one of its affiliated Foundations and will interface with internal partners to facilitate donations, help coordinate Foundation events, communications, and stewardship and recognition efforts. Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's degree
  • Experience - Two (2) years of experience in philanthropy, communications, volunteer management, public relations, customer relations, marketing or a related field.
  • In Lieu Of In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above four (4) years philanthropy, communications, public relations, customer relations, marketing or related filed in a professional or voluntary setting may be considered.
  • Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses NA
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a wide range of constituents.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office programs, database)

Responsibilities

  • Assists in coordinating and executing fundraising programs, which may include annual giving, major gift fundraising, donor and volunteer stewardship, community outreach, and third-party events.
  • Executes pre-event communications and event follow-up.
  • Ensures efficient event logistics, budgeting, expense tracking, and on-site staffing.
  • Manages data and processes for accurate receipting and tracking of donations, including coordinating in-kind donations.
  • Supports volunteer and donor stewardship activities which may include organizing meetings and recognizing donors and volunteers.
  • Assists with fundraising and engagement events and activities such as campaigns, and other programs.
  • Coordinates communications, including developing content for websites and social media, in collaboration with marketing and communications teams.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
