Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Development department staff, donors, and volunteers to implement development goals.
- Forge and develop working relationships with donors, volunteers, and the community.
- Maintain donor databases and implement fundraising campaigns.
- Represent the agency at community events and outreach opportunities through public speaking and presentations.
- Initiate contact and follow up with donors and prospects in collaboration with other Development staff, CEO, and volunteers.
- Keep up-to-date records in donor database, accurately tracking all interactions, gifts, tours, and correspondence.
- Regularly interact with donors, including thank you letters and personal correspondences.
- Work closely with the communications team to support fundraising needs among all communications and marketing channels.
- Pull lists and occasionally prepare various donor reports.
- Write and review donor proposals, making direct solicitations when necessary.
- Collaborate with development staff to ensure completeness and accuracy of donor data.
- Assist in planning and execution of all annual giving activities like golf tournament, donor recognition events, and Change Your Mind Festival.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred.
- 2+ years of prior development experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of donor databases, preferred.
